BESH O DROM, HUNGARIAN EXPLOSIAN AT THE AMSTERDAM ROOTS FESTIVAL
The Amsterdam Roots Festival is part of the Holland Festival. Traditionally there was again a global village in the Oosterpark. Unfortunalely Sunday June 17th it was pouring rain for almost the whole day. But that didn't prevent people from coming to listen to music from all over the world. We went to the concert of Besh o droM, a swinging band from Budapest, playing a catching mixture of Gipsy- and Balkan-music with some jazz and pop elements. We also talked to the band. This time we show you a part of this. More of Besh o droM we will present later in a special we will make about Central- and Eastern European presence at the Holland Festival.

Next week again a varied program!

Enjoy watching!
